CHIPO WEKARE, CA

CHAIR

Chipo is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial management, strategic leadership, and business process optimization within large and multinational corporations. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and an MBA from the University of Queensland.

Chipo’s expertise encompasses financial strategy, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, budgeting, and project management. She is a strong advocate for the integration of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline operations and enhance decision-making.

Her passion extends beyond the corporate world to social impact, where she is deeply committed to improving access to insulin for children with Type 1 diabetes in Zimbabwe. Chipo is actively involved in efforts to provide essential medication, medical equipment, and educational resources to underserved communities.

In her personal life, Chipo enjoys traveling, experimenting with new culinary techniques, and taking long walks with her Rhodesian Ridgeback, Shumba. Her dedication to social change, coupled with her strategic expertise, makes her an invaluable contributor to the Lili Grace Foundation’s mission.

DORIS ZIJENAH - MOYO

DIRECTOR

Doris is a passionate advocate for children with Type 1 diabetes, leveraging her extensive experience in Human Resources to drive meaningful change.
 
With a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and a Master's in Business Administration, Doris has always been dedicated to creating positive impact through empowerment and opportunity.
 
Her career journey began in 2013, and since then, she has become a beacon of hope for many. Doris co-founded BPO Zimbabwe, an initiative that connects top talent with global opportunities to address the unemployment crisis in her home country. She also plays a vital role in the women’s discipleship program R.O.O.T.S., where she helps women recognize their worth and unlock their potential.
 
Doris’s commitment to supporting children with Type 1 diabetes is deeply personal. She believes in the power of community, empathy, and effective communication to create an environment where children can thrive despite their diagnosis.
 
Outside of her advocacy work, Doris starts her mornings with a 5 a.m. Boot Camp session and enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors, always seeking new adventures.

Bryn is a Partner at Tradies Accountant with extensive experience in accounting and strategic advisory services. He has played a pivotal role in transforming traditional accounting practices by integrating advanced technologies such as AI, RPA, and custom applications. His expertise encompasses high-level CFO advisory, strategic planning, and data-driven insights to optimize business efficiency and decision-making.

As a director of the Lili Grace Foundation, Bryn brings not only a wealth of financial knowledge but also a deeply personal connection to Type 1 diabetes, which fuels his commitment to the foundation’s mission. This connection drives his passion for ensuring that children living with the disease have access to the resources, care, and support they need to thrive.

Bryn’s strategic vision, coupled with his personal dedication to making a difference, makes him an invaluable leader in the foundation’s efforts to improve the lives of children in Zimbabwe with Type 1 diabetes.
